Worship Team Musicians
Reports To: Pastor / Worship Leader
Position Type: Part-time / Full-time (voluntary)
Job Summary
The Musicians provides musical leadership during worship services and other church events. This role supports the spiritual life of the congregation through music that leads and enhances worship, encourages participation, and reflects the church’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instrumental and/or vocal music for weekly worship services, rehearsals, weddings, funerals, and special church events.
- Collaborate with the pastor and worship team leader, and the worship team to plan music that aligns with the theme of the service.
- Lead and accompany congregational singing and praise songs.
- Rehearsals with the team.
- Select diverse musical styles that support inclusive and engaging worship.
- Support the development of a music ministry that nurtures talent within the congregation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in playing one or more instruments (piano, organ, guitar, etc.) and/or strong vocal ability.
- Knowledge of Christian music.
- Ability to read music and lead congregational singing (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Team player
- Previous experience in church music ministry (preferred but not essential).
- Commitment to the mission and values of the church.
- This is a voluntary role and mainly consists at present of Sundays, rehearsals during the week, and special services (where available).
- The hours vary according to the service and rehearsal
- Sunday service runs 10:30 am -12 pm approximately, you would need to be there 1hr before service

Youth Leader
Reports To: Pastor
Position Type: Volunteer
Job Summary
The Youth Leader is responsible for guiding and mentoring the church’s youth, helping them grow in their faith and develop a personal relationship with Christ. This role includes organizing activities, Bible studies, and outreach opportunities that engage and equip young people to live out their faith in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and lead weekly youth meetings, Bible studies, and small groups.
- Mentor and disciple youth, building strong relationships and providing spiritual guidance.
- Organize events such as retreats and recreational activities.
- Encourage youth participation in worship services and church ministries.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about youth programs and events.
- Recruit, train, and oversee youth ministry volunteers.
- Ensure all activities follow church policies for safety and child protection.
- Work with the pastor and church leadership to align youth ministry with the overall mission of the church.
Qualifications
- Strong personal Christian faith and commitment to serving God and youth.
- Experience working with youth in ministry, education, or mentoring (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to relate well to young people and their families.
- Knowledge of Scripture and ability to teach biblical principles in engaging ways.
- Ability to plan creative, age-appropriate, and spiritually enriching activities.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training for child/youth safety.
